Here is step by step on how to create the perfect lip! Followed by a list of products I used to accomplish this!
Steps:
1. EXFOLIATE! No way you're going to achieve perfect lips with dry and cracked lips. I used a sugar scrub. [Just mix water and sugar]
2. Lip Balm or Conditioner! Conditioner is better, I just don't have any. This step is crushal because you want 'kissable' looking lips.
3. Lip Plumper! [Optional] Depending on the size of your lips, you may want to do this step if they are small like mine, because you want lucious lips!
4. Lip Liner! [Not Optional] Using a lip liner will keep the color from feathering. Which is when the lipstick [ecspecially cremes] run out of the lips in feather like patterns. This look smudgy and sloppy!
5. Blend! Blend the liner inward on your lips. This will soften the line, if during the day your lipstick fades.
6. Lipstick! [Color of your Choice] Use a nice, high quality lipstick like MAC. Preferrably a longwear, but any will do. Apply this with a 318 brush from MAC, or one similar.
7. Conceal! Taking a light concealor, line the outer portion of the lips using a 212 brush from MAC, or whatever you feel comfortable with. This will bring shape to the lips and make the lips flawless. Think of this as your beauty eraser!
8. Blend! Now blend that out and ensure that there are no harsh lines! Use the same brush to blend that you used to apply.
9. Lipgloss! Normally, associated with the red lip, is high shine! Get a gloss that is going to last and shine well. You can use a red [if you are doing red] or a clear gloss.
